President's Project (2017-2023)

Delaware Garden Clubs Recognized Nationally (Coastal Point)

TREE-mendous Delaware Tree Planting at Delaware Botanic Gardens was the President's Project of Delaware Federation of Garden Clubs during the term of Lisa Arni, from April 2017 to April 2019, in support of Delaware Botanic Gardens at Pepper Creek.

The new Delaware Botanic Gardens, now under construction, is a 37-acre creekside site that is located on the outskirts of Dagsboro in Sussex County, about a half hour from Delaware's popular ocean beaches. It will someday be a world-class, inspirational, educational, and sustainable public botanic garden.

Donors of $100 (or more in $100 increments) for TREE-mendous Delaware Tree Planting at Delaware Botanic Gardens, received a certificate “in honor of” or “in memory of” someone they designated.

Delaware Botanic Gardens opened to the public in September 2019.
